What is construction site consulting?
It is technical and organisational support, independent of the actual execution of the works: we help plan phases, organise works, coordinate the people involved and solve technical or organisational issues.
Do you replace the works supervisor or the safety coordinator?
No. Our activities respect the roles, responsibilities and professional appointments required by law, without overlapping with the formally appointed technical figures. We work alongside them.
Can you step in on a single phase of the site?
Yes. We can follow a project as a whole or step in on specific phases or issues, including on other companies’ sites.
What is an RSPP and when is one needed?
The Head of the Prevention and Protection Service (RSPP) works with the employer on risk assessment, prevention and protection measures and worker training. Under Italian Legislative Decree 81/2008, appointing one is an obligation of the employer that cannot be delegated.
Can the RSPP role be given to an external person?
Yes, the Decree allows the service to be entrusted to someone outside the company, provided they have the skills and professional requirements set out in Article 32. Matrix Group takes on this role only when those requirements are met and following a formal appointment.
Can the employer act as RSPP personally?
In some cases, yes: Article 34 of Legislative Decree 81/2008 allows it for certain types and sizes of company, subject to specific training. We can help you understand whether this applies to you and organise the related obligations.
Do you also handle worker training?
We support companies in organising worker training and information, scheduling deadlines and coordinating with the other company figures involved.
